About Post 112

The Davis-Darrow-Meyer American Legion Post 112 has proudly served the Elk River community for generations. Chartered as part of the national American Legion organization founded in 1919, Post 112 carries forward the mission of supporting veterans, their families, and the ideals of service, honor, and patriotism.
Named in memory of local veterans Davis, Darrow, and Meyer, the Post stands as a living tribute to those who have served our nation and to those who continue to uphold its values today.
Located at 525 Railroad Drive NW in Elk River, Post 112 is home to a vibrant and welcoming community that includes the American Legion Auxiliary, the Sons of the American Legion, and the Legion Riders.
Together, these groups work to provide vital assistance to veterans, sponsor youth programs and scholarships, and promote civic responsibility through community events and patriotic initiatives. From fundraising dinners and holiday observances to volunteer projects, the Post serves as a cornerstone of fellowship and service in Sherburne County.

More than a meeting place, Post 112 is a gathering space where stories are shared, friendships are built, and a deep commitment to service continues to thrive.
Whether honoring those who have worn the uniform or supporting the next generation of community leaders, the Elk River American Legion remains dedicated to its founding purpose -"Veterans Strengthening America."
