My name is Vaughn Smith. I am an Army Veteran
and served 2 years after being drafted. I went to Vietnam in 1971. I decided to join the Elk River American Legion in 1992 to be a number.
My wife Michele and I started coming to the Post for our date night. We met other members and felt very welcome. We joined the Legion Riders and started to get more involved. We ended up having many friends that we call our family. We feel very blessed to be able to help and serve our Legion Family. Currently serving as the Commander
to Post 112 Elk River and on the Honor Guard.
Join Vaughn on Saturday mornings from 8:30 - 10:00 AM at Coffee and Donuts with the Commander.
