Auxiliary Unit 112
Who We Are
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 112 of Elk River, Minnesota is a welcoming and dedicated group of volunteers committed to supporting veterans, military families, and the greater Elk River community.
Unit 112 is made of individuals from all walks of life who share a common goal: to give back to those who have served our country. Whether organizing local events, supporting youth programs, or assisting veterans in need, the members of the Auxiliary bring compassion, energy, and a strong sense of purpose to everything they do.
Monthly Meetings
The Elk River American Legion Auxiliary Unit 112 meets once every month on the 1st Thursday at 7:00 PM. Our meetings are combined with the Post and SAL.
Who can Join
You must be a grandmother, mother, sister, spouse, or direct/ adopted female descendant of:
-
A member of the American Legion.
-
A man or woman who served between 4/6/1917 to 11/11/1918, or anytime after December 7, 1941.
-
Of all men and women who died after honorable discharge or in the line of duty any time after December 7, 1941 or the periods mentioned above.

Auxiliary President

I joined the Auxiliary 2019 once my children
graduated from high school, I am eligible under my husband Vaughn. I have been a Membership Director, First Vice and now President for the last 3 years. Being in the Auxiliary gives you friendship through
volunteer opportunities and community. I also joined the American Legion Riders in 2019.
Auxiliary Annual Events
Every Year on Halloween from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Auxiliary dresses up their vehicles and passes out candy to trick or treaters in the parking lot. We are always open to the public!
Trunk or Treat
The Auxiliary has been hosting their annual Craft, Vendor and Bake Sale for over 15 years. It's held the Saturday before Halloween in October.
Craft & Bake Sale
Each year, Auxiliary holds their Annual Holiday Bake Sale the first Friday in December. We welcome you to come and get some delicious baked goods! All funds raised go to support veteran organizations.
Holiday Bake Sale
On the Friday before Memorial Day each year, Auxiliary passes out the poppy from our post and a few other locations around Elk River for donations. This is part of the American Legion Auxiliary Poppy Program. Stop and see us!
